The Noxious Weeds are: Canada Thistle, Leafy Spurge, Field Bindweed (Creeping Jenny), and any other such weeds as the governing body of the village or the county board by ordinance or resolution declares to be noxious within its respective boundaries. In addition to the above Noxious Weeds, all plants out of place and considered detrimental to the county must be controlled on all lands. The Village does NOT provide garbage pickup services. You will need to contract with a private contractor for your garbage pickup needs.
All village residents and property owners have 24 hours after the snowfall to remove snow and ice, otherwise the village will clear sidewalks and invoice you. If you do not pay the invoice, it will go on tax roll as a special assessment.
