Water Main Flushing Notice

June 2, 2026

The Village of Mishicot Water Department will be flushing water mains through hydrants from Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12, 2026. This is done in order to reduce and remove any accumulation of rust and iron in the Village’s water main distribution system. The flushing may cause discolored water in your system.

We ask that when you notice the discolored water to please flush your cold water until water quality returns to normal. Please avoid clothes washing at this time especially white clothing, if washing cannot be avoided please check water clarity before washing. Your cooperation and understanding during water main flushing is greatly appreciated.
