Now Hiring: MAGIC Office Coordinator

Mishicot, WI

The Mishicot Area Growth and Improvement Committee is seeking a motivated, organized, and community-focused individual to serve as the MAGIC Office Coordinator. This position plays a key role in supporting local events, communications, and community engagement efforts throughout the year.

Position Overview:
The MAGIC Office Coordinator is responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, supporting community events, managing communications, and assisting the MAGIC Board. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, event-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to phone messages and emails
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and meeting materials for monthly MAGIC Board meetings
  • Coordinate and assist with community events such as Pumpkinfest, summer concerts, and the MAGIC Banquet
  • Develop and distribute seasonal community newsletters
  • Manage event promotions including flyers, social media posts, and public communications
  • Coordinate with local businesses, organizations, and volunteers
  • Maintain event records, schedules, and documentation
  • Assist with vendor coordination, registrations, and event logistics
  • Perform other duties as needed to support MAGIC initiatives
  • Record all donations in QuickBooks

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs (word processing, email, social media)
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Experience with event planning, marketing, or administrative support preferred
  • Commitment to community involvement and teamwork
  • Must have good working knowledge of QuickBooks for all accounting functions and payroll

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time position (hours may vary based on seasonal event needs)
  • Flexible schedule with some evening and weekend commitments required
  • Compensation based on qualifications and experience
